The object of the organization shall be the gathering and recording of the history of Charlestown and of individuals and families associated with the town; to collect and preserve historical artifacts and relics; and to found and maintain a museum where such collection shall be maintained and exhibited.

Time Capsule - Current Charlestown History Project
The idea of the Time Capsule is to document statistics, events, people
and places from the present time in Charlestown. The Time Capsule
will capture the history and changes of Charlestown as we begin to
look back to the past. Please email historian@chs.org if you have any
photos from 2007 or 2008.
